I don't have a roster of case studies with percentage lifts and revenue multipliers. What I have are business owners who have more space in their week, and businesses that don't fall apart when the owner steps back.
Client story
I started working with him in 2020, just before the world shut down. He was a one-man band: a desk in a coworking space above a library, revenue around £100k, everything running through him. He wanted to grow. But there was no team, no structure, and no version of growth that didn't mean working more hours he didn't have.
Over six years, we built it together. His team structure, job descriptions, onboarding, the systems that let people actually do their jobs without him in every decision. We embedded processes that took the operational weight off. We worked out what he should be spending his time on versus what he should be handing off. And when it was hard, or uncertain, or he just needed someone to help him think through the next move, we worked through that too.
Six years on, the business is at £3 million. He has a team of people with families of their own, and he pays them well. He takes the school holidays off with his kids. He's still growing, still on the front foot, still building new service lines. But he does it from a position of choice, not obligation.
His week now splits between work and sport, a bit like the school timetable he grew up on. He spends his time on what he's genuinely best at: the thinking, the vision, the new ideas. The business can, largely, run without him in it every day.
He built that. I was alongside him every step of the way.
